Salutations, Pilgrims.

Just got back in from the 2nd night of the Meltdown Festival 2009. Tonight’s headliner was Yoko Ono with her band, the Plastic Ono Band, and here’s what I’ve sussed:

  • I don’t know what Ms. Ono’s banshee-like wailing was all about, but remove that from the equation, and she’s not a bad poet:

  • Sean Lennon looks just like his Old Man:

  • Mark Ronson is, well, is Mark Ronson:

  • For a 76 year old, she sure can move:

Nuff said!

Like I mentioned in my previous blog, it’s going to take a miracle to top The Roots performance, and this gig did not. That said, it’s all about musical preferences and this kind of avant-garde stylings lacks taste to my ears. But hey, I’m a live music photographer. What do I know about music? šŸ™‚

Pax Vobiscum, pilgrims!
